Earlier this summer we adopted Lily (fka. Water Lily) and our lives have since been enriched in ways beyond our wildest expectations. Needless to say, our 9-year-old son has found a BFF – as a matter of fact, my wife and I both believe that he has said “I love you” to Lily more times than he’s ever said it to either one of us!
