Dear Heartland Family,
Remember us? The calico cuties who were adopted during the “Clear the Shelters” day last August. We were formerly known as Deion and Janele. We had a lovely christening party and became ZORRA and NOLA respectively.
We have been adopted by a relatively, nice lady who had a lot of toys when we came to our new apartment. We ignored them for the first week or so, of course. We didn’t want her to think our hearts could be had by a handful of shiny objects.
We have spent hours and hours exploring our new digs and have determined we are NEVER going to leave. The couch is oh so comfy and the living room rug is an absolute match to our stunning fur coloring. We have found tons of places to hide out when we need our “me” time. Little nooks and warm, dark spaces provide the perfect opportunities to play hide and seek or as we call it “Surprise, scared you, hahaha”.
We are very happy and wanted to let everyone know that we miss you all like crazy but…we are NEVER coming back. We are here to stay. We asked T. C. (that’s what we call our mom) to send some pics to keep your spirits up while you are going through this period of separation.
